Jim started in the furniture business about 40 years ago. During those 40 years, he delivered and installed all types of furniture and wall units for numerous stores and factories. He began his career in the furniture business working for Miracle Installation in the 1960's At Miracle he installed stereo components in custom-made cabinets and delivered them all thru out the tri-state area and out of state as well. After gaining much expertise he then branched out on his own, started JBR Moving and Delivery Service. JBR delivered and installed furniture for such clients as Designers Woodcraft, Cliff Young, LTD. , House of Grossman Furniture, Frank Roth Associates, Foremost Furniture, Roma Furniture, and numerous interior decorators.
Jim also installed motorized wall units for D.I.A. Furniture traveling from Massachusetts to Virginia.
JBR occupied a warehouse in the Bronx and Long Island, where we continued to service the furniture industry. In recent years Jim had the opportunity to complete the Guardsman Furniture Pro course in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he mastered the craft of furniture refinishing, repairing all types of wood furniture and cleaning & repair of upholstered & Leather furniture.
